Here's a short link ... in general, when giving LJ links, you shouldn't
need any of that stuff in the URL after "articleid."

15)
"Digital Libraries- The Importance of Being Granular" which makes frequent
reference to MARC. That article provides a clearer picture of where
Tennant
is coming from (and hopefully going).
