It's been a while since I've been on this list. I used to frequent the list
about 6 years ago (I think) when I was in high school. I even started up my
amateur science fiction and fantasy website Dubious Matter from this list.
I'm curious how many people are still around from then.
As for me, I quit Dubious Matter about 3 years ago while in college for lack
of time (and help) although I still get submissions about every other month.
It surprises me that people don't bother to read the publication at least
once before submitting their work. I've also gone from a high school kid to
having graduated college, gained employment as a copyeditor for a small
daily newspaper, gotten married and I just bought a house. I'm looking
forward to reading some more of the interesting SF and fantasy conversations
I remember from high school.
