Z Diagnostics I could find:
205 Only zero step size supported for Scan
206 Specified step size not supported for Scan step
228 Malformed Scan
232 Scan: term list not supported
233 Scan: Unsupported value of position-in-response
240 Scan: Resources exhausted looking for satisfying terms
241 Scan: Beginning or end of term list
1029 Scan: too many terms requested.
1051 Scan: Attribute set id required -- not supplied
I think we need:
110 Scan operation unsupported
111 Unsupported or illegal numberOfEntries
112 Unsupported or illegal responsePosition
and the current CQL diagnostics for the searchClause.
Is 241 a surrogate diagnostic? If so, should we have some facility for
including a marker for the beginning/end of the list as well as the
supplied term?
Also, special terms for beginning and end of the list would be very useful
for the request. This would mean that you could say 'give me the
first/last 10 entries' rather than having to find out with trial and error
what the first/last positions are.
Consider the implications of the following in a scanRequest:
searchClause='srw.resultSetName=rset1'
Does this return a list of result sets? Is it meaningless? Should it
return terms from that result set, and if so which index?
