I am in the middle of reading Tathea by Anne Perry. It seems like a
fantasy, but p. 370, the lead character states:
"'There was a beloved Son, of whom God spoke,' she said, 'who lived on
another world than ours, in such a way that he might answer the law and
redeem worlds without number.'"
The book is a kind of Pilgrim's Progress, following the adventures of
Tathea, a exiled empress who is searching for her true nature. It
definitely has Christian overtones. And it is a pretty good read, too.
