The University of Maryland announces an innovative new degree: Master
of Information Management
Apply now for classes
Starting in September 2003,
January 2004, and June 2004
Flexible for either part-time or full-time study
The University of Maryland's College of Information Studies is
launching a new (second) master's in the fall--Master of Information
Management.
Mid-career librarians and information specialists are among our target
audiences for the degree as it makes an excellent "add-on" to the
library degree as it gives a lot more job mobility. A full escription
of the degree, including samply syllabi can be found at the CLIS website

This Wednesday, April 9th between 4 and 6 p.m., we are hosting an
information session about the degree on Capitol Hill at the Hall of
States Building (444 North Capitol) in Room 283.
We also have Information Sessions in College Park. The next one is
Thursday, April 24th at 6 p.m. More info is on our website.
