So, how do we stand on being able to pull out the data needed?
If we use my poor beatles... whoopse I mean beetles.
I have a stand alone metadata record in the MODS schema as follows:

My goal would be to have a style sheet of some sort to be able to pull out
a citation:
Champion, G. C. _Insecta. Coleoptera_ v. 4 _ Rhynchophora_. pt. 4 _
Rhynchophora. Curculionidae Curculionoidea_. 2003 Washington, D.C. original
issued in vii, 750 p., 35 plates in 1902-1906.
or
_Insecta. Coleopter. Rhynchophora. Curculionidae Curculionoidea._ G. C.
Champion. (4:4; vii, 750 p., 35 plates) 1902-1906. Smithsonian Institution
Libraries, 2003.
or
some other order and markings
AND, using the id in the related host item field to even pull some data
from there if need be. (Because, in this case, the related host item will
have a related host item for the overall project BCA.)
_Insecta. Coleopter_. v. 4 _Rhynchophora_. pt. 4_Curculionidae
Curculionoidea._ G. C. Champion. (vii, 750 p., 35 plates) 1902-1906. (Volume
12 of the _Biologia Centrali-Americana_ F. D. Ducane and O. Salvin,
1879-1915) Smithsonian Institution Libraries, 2003.
Right now I can' t do this because the number values for the volume and
parts are mixed with their "label". And I am not sure if I am nesting the
part names and volume names right. Should I be eliminating the full name of
the volume on this record for the part (catalogers like to transcribe what
is on the piece) and let the linking of the relatedItem field pick up the
title of the volume?
How would one of the three suggestions from Rebecca work on this?
