So something like:
srw.database any "http://srw.o-r-g.org:8080/dc/ http://srw.o-r-g.org:8080/ead/"
?
What about when you have to send different queries to the databases,
rather than just a simple dc.foo ? You just can't do that?
Each <record> needs a metadata field for database URL from which it
derives, probably along with the other metadata I would think, but that's
not a big issue.
Where would you send the query to? I would imagine that it would be a
portal which does what it needs to, rather than requiring every database
to support cross searching with all others, so it would have it's own base
URL?
How do you tell which databases are supported by the server? Scan on
srw.database? Or somewhere in zeerex?
