Hello,
On June 21st I wrote the mail below, and got no answer, so I'm posting it
again, just in case...
I agree this is a very specific question...
-----------------------
our finding aids often include some historical or technical glossaries
(tools to help searchers to understand specific terms within the
description, like old legal vocabulary or old institution names taken from
ancient records to get formal <unittitle> or <scopecontent> data), and
lists of acronyms or abbreviations used either to quote corporate bodies or
to shorten units or technical terms
so I'm wondering which EAD element should be used to encode these ?
It seems to me that it could be <frontmatter> and <div> within it, if these
data are considered to concern the use of the finding aid ; or <odd>
within <archdesc> if they are considered to concern the archival
description. Nothing very accurate anyway.
has someone some suggestion or experience about this ?
--------------------------
thank you in advance
