No more <add>, but the <add> subelements from EAD v.1.0 are still available, you just no longer (in EAD 2002) need to bundle them a layer deeper than necessary by putting them in <add>. I haven't tried encoding and parsing something like this, but it might be possible to encode 2 <separatedmaterial>s, one with the summary note to which Kathlene refers, with a link pointing to a 2nd <separatedmaterial> farther along in the finding aid that contains the more detailed list of the materials separated? Or perhaps the list could go in a <note> farther along in the finding aid. You'd have to play around a bit and see what parses (i.e., I'm not sure off the top of my head if the DTD will allow you to put a <separatedmaterial> or <note> after the </dsc> and before the </archdes>).
