The W3C now recommends SOAP 1.2 rather than 1.1, however I suspect that
99% of toolkits only support 1.1 (TkaI once again.)
So, can we say the following:
An SRW server must support SOAP version 1.1, and may also support SOAP
version 1.2 or later.
As far as the changes go, apart from the XML Namespace, most of them seem
to be related to relaying messages between multiple SOAP servers (proxies,
exchanges, etc) Faults have gotten slightly more useful, along the same
lines as our diagnostic change. This is only a very cursory glance over
the specs though.
