There is a classic tradeoff here among cost, quality, and convenience. The
Nitty-Gritty is definitely at the bottom on all counts, but I could not
justify more than that for my requirements. I have no doubt that the
Library of Congress has different requirements and constraints and that
their choice would therefore be likely to differ from mine - and perhaps
from that of Graham Newton who asked originally.
In my experience, one size very rarely fits all.
