If something with identical syntax to your "x-collection" parameter
were embraced by a subsequent revision of SRW, then it would _have_ to
be given a name that didn't stay with "x-", to ensure it didn't
collide with someone else's same-named but semantically different
extension. In such circumstances "collection" would would be an
obvious name, yes, but nothing would _require_ it to be so.
(And, of course, whatever name was given to the new-to-SRW parameter,
nothing would prevent you from continuing to use the old
"x-collection" in your software if you wanted to.)
