I agree, and it looks like you all are going to work on this, so I'll hold
off until Tuesday (see below).
It doesn't serve us well to release this and then soon after issue alot of
defect reports, etc. It also doesn't serve us well to delay this, by more
than a few days. Even a week looks bad (given that we're already anywhere
from 1-4 months late depending on what original date you cite). A delay
until Tuesday or Wednesday is reasonable (and I'm going to take heat here at
LC for not announcing it today, but I'll deal with it -- and I'm planning to
keep the official date as February 13).
So I'm expecting you guys to give the spec a clean bill of health by Tuesday
morning.
....... However, if you guys test it out today and are all comfortable, I'm
prepared to announce it if you get to me by 5 pm US Eastern time.
