seminar will cover the major functionality of StatutesPlus, including:
Easy statutes retrieval for federal and state statutes
Navigational features using the Table of Contents, Index, Popular Name
Tables and Prior Versions links
Determine the current status of a statute with KeyCite
Review cases that analyze your statute (last 60 days, Notes of
Decisions and Additional Citing References)
We'll also branch out and cover the New Tabs for Bankruptcy and
Immigration research, additional content added to ResultsPlus and
enhancements to WestClip.
Join Wendy Brown, Librarian Relations Manager for this session!
Wendy is a West Librarian Relations Manager based in the SouthEast.
This position allows her to play an important role in customer
initiatives, connecting librarians to Librarian Relations programs and
serving as a consultant who helps librarians get the most out of their
relationships with West. She also represents West in library schools
and professional librarian associations.
Wendy has worked for West with law firm and law school librarians for
seven years. She has also worked as a part-time reference librarian for
the Legal Information Center at the University of Florida, Levin College
of Law. She earned her J.D. from U.F. and is currently pursuing her
M.L.I.S. degree at Catholic University in Washington, D.C.
