I thought it was "Search and Retrieve on the Web" and "Search and Retrieve
with URL's".

The SRW homepage (http://www.loc.gov/z3950/agency/zing/srw/) says
"Search/Retrieve Web Service".

In my opinion the first definition covers the concept of SRU/SRW, while the
second one covers only the SRW protocol (which in fact is a web service).
I know it's just a small detail, and I guess you haven't put much effort
into this question, but details are also important in my opinion. I hope
you can clarify my confusion.
