Yes that's what these two are supposed to be (though the only evidence
I can offer is from a ppt file) , and SRW/SRU  (SRW/U for short) is
supposed to generalize (as conjectured) to "Search and Retrieve for
the Web".

The SRW home page lacked any substantive reference to SRU and I've
fixed that, and I changed the SRU page to reflect it's real name. I'll
get the ZING page fixed, but (I'm embarrassed to say)  I can't do it,
because it's a photoshop image, and I don't have photoshop, but I've
put in the request to have the image text changed from
"SRW - Search/Retrieve for the Web" to
"SRW/SRU - Search/Retrieve for the Web"
