Hi Kathy,
I am awfully sorry to miss this year's EAD Roundtable Meeting. The
Archival Educators are meeting at the same time, unfortunately, and
since I chair that group I must miss the other. Rats!
On a related note, I am getting the Ph.D. at UCLA, studying with Anne
Gilliland, and my job as part of InterPARES is to analyze EAD and EAC
against the InterPARES Benchmark and Baseline requirements, as well as
the draft ISO standard, for their electronic recordkeeping
capabilities. It is going to be an interesting analysis and I am
hoping that out of it I will be able to make suggestions to Daniel
about how the DTD/Schema needs to be modified (if at all!) to
accommodate electronic recordkeeping metadata across systems and
through time.
Best,
Lori
