Please respond to
"FEDLIB: Federal

<[log in to unmask]>
I am requesting information from libraries that handle their agency's
publications, particularly:
whether or not you submit the GPO Form 3868 "Notification of Intent to
Publish" or have other methods to notify GPO?
BLM is decentralized, so each individual state publishing group submits
this form for their publications
do you house agency's materials within your library?
all the ones we can get ahold of!
if so, by sudocs? no
as a separate collection? no
or by some other organizational method?
they are cataloged by LC within the regular collection
For those who respond, if I also could have your opinions (pro/con) on the
methods you employ or employed in the past.
The pro is other libraries and library users accessing our catalog
(http://207.67.203.45/b10109/) see a familiar call numbering system; the
con is the bureau uses a different internal subject function code system to
organize materials within field offices.
