I would be willing to attempt to answer these questions if you would send me a copy of the file with which you are working.  Otherwise, it is almost impossible to tell the problem except to observe that if you are trying to use the <organization> element, you are using an outdated version of EAD.

       Dear List Members,

                While debugging my program this afternoon, the parser
gave me, "...document type does not allow element "SCOPECONTENT"
       here", so I nested it inside <dsc type="combined">.

                It then gave me "...document type does not allow
element "ORGANIZATION" here", so I nested it inside <dsc
type="combined">

                It then gave me"...document type does not allow element
"ARRANGEMENT" here", so I nested that tag inside <dsc type="combined">

                It is now giving me "...document type does not allow
element "DSC" here". Any ideas about what the problem might be?
