Guidelines on Production and Preservation of Digtal Audio Objects
This document, which sets out IASA policy in the form of guidelines, is intended to provide guidance to audiovisual archivists on a professional approach to the production and preservation of digital audio objects. The alternatives for viable target formats
and the sustainability of the information, is also discussed. The document is written by members of the IASA Technical Committee, edited by Kevin Bradley from the National Library of Australia, and endorsed by UNESCO as a "recommended practice document".
