I don't believe you have to do anything at all -- EAD 2002 is already an XML
dtd. I'm using the EAD 2002 DTD with XMeTaL and haven't had any problem
except that it's case sensitive, so some of our old documents had to be run
through a quick conversion process to change the tags to all upper case.
Does anyone on this list know why case sensitivity was thought to be a good
thing? I can't figure out why any sane person would want to make DTDs case
sensitive...and is case sensitivity an XML thing, or could I turn it off in
the declaration somehow without violating XML principles?
