Hi Educat Members,
I am a student at the School of Information at the University of Michigan.
I am working on a project for my cataloging class and I need input from
people who are currently working in libraries.
For my project, I have chosen to explore current management issues in
libraries in the areas of organization, access, and representation of
information. The end product will be a brief presentation and a paper on
what I have learned.
If anyone has time to answer the following two questions, I would greatly
appreciate your help.
1. What are a few of the major issues and challenges in the areas of
information organization, access, and representation that you (and/or your
library)have had to deal with in the past few years?
2. What are the ways that you (and/or your library) have dealt with these
issues? Specifically, what has worked and what has not worked?
