It occurs to me that we should have some process established here: in
the case of a ballot for a macrolanguage:
- It should be clearly stated that we are voting on a macrolanguage.
Either that, or perhaps that should be something we are voting on. (I
prefer the former.)
- It should be clear what individual languages the proposed
macrolanguage would encompass.
Perhaps this is already clear to everyone, but in case not I thought I'd
mention it.
In the case of this particular ballot, it's clear that the individual
languages are Hindi and Urdu, though I hadn't thought about it being a
macrolanguage until Rebecca mentioned it.
