***** Additional information *****

This item has been discussed by the JAC previously. From the resolutions
from the JAC meeting on 2000-02-18/18: "23. Aromanian: Deferred. Further
evidence of the documents is needed. These will be circulated through the
e-mail lists."

The item was sent out again in July, with a reminder in September. There
were few comments, and no negative comments. The ballot proposes to assign
the ISO 639-3 and Ethnologue identifier: rup.

Status in Ethnologue and ISO 639-3: Macedo-Romanian = "rup"

Linguasphere: 51-AAD-b ("Armâneasca+Meglenitsa") and 51-AAD-ba ("Limba
Armâneasca").
