I just added support for this extended syntax to my CQL parser and the
BNF that I assumed was something like:
searchClause ::= '(' cqlQuery ')'
| index relation searchTerm
| searchTerm
| index relation '(' searchTermGroup ')'
searchTermGroup ::= searchTermGroup booleanGroup searchTerm
| searchTerm
