An identifier for the digital location of the record.
For example, you might want to say: Find me all records that are kept in
recordStore 'robsRecordStore1' or all records kept in the SQL table
'records' or that are files in the directory '/home/azaroth/srw/data'
All of these are identifiers for a location of a record.
In a metasearchy environment, it might even be the URI to another
database.
