Right, DC describes elements and not indexes. I am still in favour of
having a default srw indexset containing all dc, dcterms and bath
names. Especially when we are going to avoid things like having
gils.title and dc.title and bath.title.
Also because we have to do with qualifiers and refinements. In
qualified dc for example there is something like <dc:identifier
xsi:type="ISBN">. In a default srw indexset this could be defined as
srw.isbn. In the specification of such a set we can point to the
namespace where a name is retrived from without depending on the
organsation that controls the namespace. It would alson be quite elegant
for new SRU participants to have a basic srw index set for all commonly
used indexes.
