First-time poster, short-time lurker...

Is it of any signficance that shortly into W's first
term he issued the executive order that broke with the
usual procedure of archivng private presidential
papers part of the puiblic record after 12 years to
protect his father's records? Is NHPRC the
organization that handles this?

He would surely give the same reasons for wanting us
not to see his own.
