In addition to what Michael said regarding your other points, I
believe the problem you are experiencing in point 5 has to do
with the text of the clip as it interacts with some of your
system settings. I have had similar problems on other computers.
Perhaps is you send the exact error message or describe the
problem in more detail, I can diagnose what is wrong.
