(Cross-posted. Please excuse any duplication.)
If you are planning to attend the 2005 Computers in Libraries Conference in Washington DC next week in March, we invite you to join IEEE for a "Sneak Peek Preview" of the upcoming IEEE Xplore 2.0.
This session will be held on Thursday, 17 March, from 2:30pm-3:30pm in the Chevy Chase Room of the Hilton Washington. Snacks and refreshments will be served, followed by a presentation detailing new features in this major upcoming upgrade to the IEEE online platform.
The overview will cover enhancements such as full-text searching, the more functional overall design, an automated welcome page that recognizes users' access rights, customized "homepages" for all IEEE periodicals, and an enhanced presentation of conference proceedings to display title history.
Seating is limited, so please RSVP to Phyllis Buchta at
mailto:[log in to unmask] by Tuesday, 15 March. (And please feel free to pass
this invitation along to any colleagues you think might be interested in
attending.)
If you will be at Computers in Libraries but can't join us for this
session, stop by the IEEE booth (# 411) for the latest information and a
personal tour of IEEE Xplore 2.0.
We look forward to seeing you there!
