Hi AM Fellows and friends,
I'm working on an Annenberg-funded project for which we need to document
excellent teaching of a powerful holocaust memoir about the Kindertransport,
titled "The Children of Willesden Lane," by Mona Golabek.
We're looking for excellent middle and high school teachers, preferably on
the East Coast (but they could be anywhere actually) who have taught the
book before in a humanities, history or human rights context, and might be
willing to have a documentary crew film them teaching it again.
It's an interesting opportunity for folks to share their good teaching, and
I'd appreciate hearing from you -- and/or you circulating this to teachers
and librarians who might be of help.
Thanks so much - and happy Spring,
