Yep, my bad :) Mike and I were discussing related things off list, so

Yes to everything.
In particular we need it in ZeeRex for searches like:
zeerex.set exact/cql.oid "1.2.840.10003.3.1"
E.g. find me documents that reference the BIB1 attribute set.
