FEDLINK Spring Membership Meeting
Learn about licensing issues and discuss how to join in issues to establish fair terms for your agency. Miriam Nisbet, legislative counsel for the American Library Association (ALA), will describe national and international activities ALA is pursuing to improve licensing terms and to educate the information science community. FEDLINK staff and members will also discuss specific points regarding licenses required by the federal government and desired by federal customers.
Carol Bursik, Chair of the FLICC Budget and Finance Working Group, will then present the proposed Fiscal Year 2006 FLICC/FEDLINK budget. FLICC Working Groups and FEDLINK staff also will report on the latest initiatives and programs.
NOTE: The FEDLINK Spring OCLC Users Group Meeting Is Tuesday May 24.
