Dear FEDLINK Member,
I do hope this message finds you well. I want to let you know of another opportunity for us to meet and discuss JSTOR participation for your institution. The past few months have been most productive for JSTOR and I will be happy to fill you in on the details. Briefly, the new search engine has been implemented, providing greater search power and flexibility for researchers. Also, the new Biological Sciences Collection has been announced, which will expand JSTOR's coverage into areas such as zoology, cell biology, and environmental conservation. This collection, in addition to the new content being released every month into JSTOR's Arts & Sciences Collections, means even more academic material for JSTOR participants.
Will you be attending the upcoming ALA Conference in Chicago, June 23rd through the 29th? I would be happy to arrange a time for us to meet during the conference. We can look together at the new search engine and review the range of JSTOR collections available to your institution. We will be hosting a suite with our colleagues at ARTstor, June 25th through the 27th. Here is our location:
Regency Parlor Suite
Hyatt Regency McCormick Place
2233 South Martin Luther King Drive
Chicago, IL, 60616-9985
The suite will be open during the following hours. I do hope that you and your colleagues will feel free to stop by any time.
Saturday the 25th; 10am-5pm
Sunday the 26th; 11am-5pm
Monday the 27th; 9am-11am
We will only learn the suite number after we have checked into the hotel. We will be sure to let the concierge know where we will be, and will place directional signs strategically in the hotel.
In addition, I will be available to meet with you by appointment any time on Friday June 24th. I do hope to see you in Chicago. If you have any questions regarding JSTOR or JSTOR participation, please do contact me or my associate, Rebecca Hart, at the phone number of email address below.
With all best wishes, Carol MacAdam
