I don't know what tools you have available but what you need to create
Cutter numbers (which are added to the LC class numbers) is the LC author
table. It is a one-page sheet that can be found in various places,
such as LC's Subject Cataloging Manual: Shelflisting (which is available
in Cataloger's Desktop and, I believe, Classification Web). The LC
author table has also been reproduced in most cataloging textbooks so
I would suggest you look first in the textbook you used in your cataloging
class, assuming you still have it.
As for the Cutter number you mentionned, .R67 sounds appropriate for the
name Rosch. According to the table, consonants (other than S) that are
followed by the letter 'O' take the numeral '6' so 'R6' for names
beginning 'Ro'. The number is then expanded based on the third letter
and the other materials you have in your shelflist in class TK7888.3
by authors whose surnames begin with the letters 'Ro'. The intent is
to keep the materials in that class (or any class) in alphabetical order
by main entry.
