I've brought up RDF a couple of times in the past having had this sense
that it's an important technology that the library world might pay more
attention to. I've recently been talking to some people in that
community again. One of them is Leigh Dodds, who is behind Ingenta's
recent move to RDF (another is working on an OWL schema for the FRBR).
Anyway, long story short is that Leigh's just posted something on RDF
and library metadata (in response to something that Kevin Clarke posted
the other day about metadata interoperability) that I think he's hoping
might spur some discussion that doesn't seem to take place enough
between the RDF world and the library world.
