Gary, you commented that you'd doubt that any vendor would ever include NACO
normalization into their product. Well Dynix Horizon did incorporate NACO
normalization into its authority loader and matching algorithm. This
reduced the number of duplicate records being loaded by over 50%. It took
me several years to get this enhancement but we did have it in our contract.
We got a lot of dups due to extra spaces within heading strings and ending
punctuation. That was all fixed.
