The Philadelphia Fantastic Authors and Editors Series invite you to join us
and meet authors Greg Frost and Jeffrey Ford, reading from either just
published or soon to be published books. The time is Friday, July 22, 2005, at 7:30
PM, the place is Barnes and Noble Booksellers, 1805 Walnut St., Philadelphia,
PA. Jeffrey Ford, World Fantasy Award winning author, justly acclaimed for The
Physiognomy trilogy will be reading from his soon to be published new novel,
The Girl in the Glass (scheduled for release on August 1, 2005 ) in which a
band of con artists–cum–spiritual mediums focus their psychic and sleuthing
powers on a murder mystery. Jeffrey has been nominated for the Hugo, Nebula and
World Fantasy awards, the Sturgeon Award and the International Horror Guild
Award, winning the World Fantasy Award twice and the Nebula Award once.
Greg Frost will be reading from his just published collection of short
stories, Attack of the Jazz Giants and Other Stories. Greg Frost is a graduate of
the University of Iowa and of the intensive Clarion Writers Workshop at
Michigan State University. He is the author of fantasy and science fiction novels,
short stories and articles, including LYREC:, TÁIN: and REMSCELA, published
by Ace Fantasy Books/Berkley Publishing Group.THE PURE COLD LIGHT: Avon
Books, a 1994 Nebula Award Semi-Finalist, FITCHER’S BRIDES: Tor Books, December
2002. which was a Finalist for the 2003 International Horror Guild Award for
