In a way, but I was more thinking in terms of a simple working example with an "update
date index" like
http://sruhost/sru?opeartion=searchRetrieve&version=1.1&query=rec.date>20050706&x
-collection=xyz&recordSchema=srw_dc.
The extra work I refer to has to do with the use of persistant record identifiers (rather
than a number in a resultset) and the use of a predefined recordSchema to get only
record identifiers.
