If you were to abandon the SOAP version of SRW, you could kiss
goodbye to any chance that Microsoft would pick up this stuff.
And there's a whole bunch of implementors who will come on
board as soon as Microsoft does. (BTW, John Evdemon, an
architecture evangelist in Microsoft Global Solutions, has
asked me to co-author an article for Microsoft's architecture
journal about SRW.)
