I would lie to chime in on this for the specific case of
CQL parsing. IMHO, it would be useful to have a reference
implementation of CQL parsing that developers could invoke
as a service. I may be prejudiced, but I'd like to see that
service provide PQF or something else close to the Z39.50
RPN so one could tell what might be happening when things
go awry, or interpretations seem to be ambiguous.
