This request came to me and I am not sure: does anyone know this story?
A short story, published in the '60's with the following scenario: a
person can rent some kind of glasses or helmet and experience a story by
actually being in the story. And the more the money a person has to pay
for the use of the glasses--the better the story is that the person
experiences. The requester implied that rich patrons got really good
stories and poor patrons got horrible stories.
Many thanks!
