I found out on the Pro Audio list that I really need an
X-86-C with serial card (I guess the X-86s can be donor machines to
keep the "-C" running...
This will play both X-80 and X-86 tapes (but not the 96/16 tapes of
the X-86-HR nor the X-86-LT 7.5 in/s tapes)
The "C" is the kicker...or I need also an X-80 machine.
I'd prefer one that hadn't been stored in a garage or basement.
Actually, I've said "bye bye" to the project.
