Indeed, exactly what I'll need to do if I want to use native XML Schema
to specify enumerated values for elements like Agent.agentType and
Event.eventType. "My-PREMIS" wants to <include> all of PREMIS, and
<redefine> some data types, mainly with controlled vocabularies, as
described in the PREMIS report and DD. It doesn't undermine
interoperability, and the implementation should support it. Does anyone
know a way to achieve this with the current XSD, without editing my
local copy?
