First of all, I may have misled some people into downloading the newest 
(5.0) version of MARCedit which I can't get to work with my stylesheet. 
    So if you want to use my stylesheet, please download and install 
version 4.63 available here (and you may also want to uninstall version 
5.0 to avoid confusion):

As I state in this document, converting through MARCedits standard 
interface is a two-step process, first converting from EAD to MARCXML, 
then from MARCXML to MARC communications format.  We use a script to 
does both conversions at the same time, but it is not generic enough to 
distribute on my website at this point.

The only thing that I don't cover in the README document is how to 
import your record into OCLC Connexion client.  If you are interested in 
doing that, the directions are fairly straight forward:

1. Open OCLC connexion client (version 1.4+)
2. From Connexion client's top menu, Click on "File--Import records..."
3. Click on "Browse..." to navigate to your MARC communications 
formatted file that you just created.  Once you have selected it, choose 
either "Import to online save file" (requires authentication), or 
"Import to local save file" (does not require authentication), and then 
click OK. You should get a pop-up box that says "Bibliographic records 
imported: 1".
5. From Connexion client's top menu, click on "Cataloging--Search--Local 
[Online] save file" and then click OK.

Please let me know if you run into any trouble.  Your input might help 
others who are having similar difficulties.  My stylesheet is based on 
the EAD to MARC crosswalk found at
