Thanks, Brian and others, for your insight on METS display and searching in 
response to my and Jody's posts.  We appreciate all the help!

Being more into the metadata creation side of things, however, I wonder if 
anyone has METS XML generation tools they are willing to share or discuss.  
Currently, I'm relying on XSLT, but I'm not sure this is the best workflow if 
our production gains momentum.  We have one project at the university, for 
example, that will potentially involve distributed METS generation across the 
state by a good number of contributors.

How are list members generating METS records in your own local environment?  
What works and what doesn't work so well?  I am eager to learn from those 
who've got more experience with this -- and hope to avoid re-inventing the 
wheel!

Thanks for any ideas or advice you can offer!
