I noticed on Ray's list of CQL points that "Internet media type" is not
treated as an enumerated or controlled list (and I don't understand the
difference between those, but that's neither here nor there for this
query). The IMT is listed in the documentation as coming from the 856
$q. The $q does not use a controlled vocabulary, and can contain MIME
types or other media designations. It's called "electronic format type".
It seems that the MODS field should either be just the MIME type (and
therefore a controlled list), or it should be equivalent to the 856 $q,
and therefore it's not the Internet Media Type, it's really the
electronic format type.
In other words, we should either have:
internet media type (controlled)
or
electronic format type
but not
internet media type
Apologies if all of this has been discussed in some past era that I've
long forgotten.
