The R2 Library is a web-based application that aggregates monographic content from multiple health science publishers on the desk top for your patrons.  In much the same way that Rittenhouse has provided one-stop services and ordering for your print materials, we now offer content from key health sciences publishers digitally.

Content:
R2 offers content from key health sciences publishers, in the areas of
medicine, nursing, and allied health, in a single interface. You can view a complete listing of publishers and the titles they have on the platform on our web site, www.rittenhouse.com/libraryservices.  Our business model allows for purchase at the individual title level, allowing you to tailor your content to meet your individual collection development needs.

Pricing models:
R2 allows for purchase of content at the title level, based on the number of concurrent users you require for each resource.  The publishers determine the retail price for the digital resources in the R2 Library.  Our cost calculator allows you to build and customize a quote instantly, so it is easy to determine costs and manage budgets.

Access and authentication models:
R2 authenticates using your institution's IP address.  Users associated with your IP can even access the application remotely.   The administrative tool suite enables you to determine if you will support individual user names and passwords.

Administrative and reporting tools:
The R2 administrative suite allows you to manage the collection development process, customize the application for your community, and monitor usage statistics in real time using your own web browser.
