The PCC Participants' Meeting will be Sunday, 22 January 2006, 4:00*6:00 p.m., in the Gonzales Convention Center, Room 217B.
The featured speaker will be Karen Calhoun, AUL for Technical Services at Cornell University Library, who will speak on the future of catalogers, cataloging, metadata, and metadata specialists.
Catalog librarians have the potential to leverage their expertise to make enormous contributions to their communities and to
next-generation information discovery and delivery systems, provided they focus on the needs that catalog librarians meet, rather than the methods they use.
