Can I suggest some consistency with the naming of
index modifiers. Some are mixtures of lower case and
abbreviations, eg icase; some are spelt out in full
in mixed case, eg missingOmit.
I'd suggest using mixed case spelt out in full for
all the modifiers, ie:
ignoreCase
respectCase
ascendingOrder
descendingOrder
missingOmit
...
